Trade-bound only
If there is no managed trade, there is no settlement. Managed Supplier Settlement is a mode inside a verified Prosperon-managed trade and is never a standalone service. There is no user interface — public or private — that allows a customer to submit a standalone supplier invoice for payment.
Pre-conditions
Before any managed settlement is initiated, the following pre-conditions must be cleared:
- The parent trade must exist and be in a state that permits settlement.
- The customer must be KYB-verified.
- The supplier must be verified, including bank-account-name matching where feasible.
- The transaction must have cleared compliance screening (sanctions, prohibited goods, typology).
- Customer funds must be received and confirmed against the approved trade quotation.
- Any bank-account change since verification must have been independently re-verified.
Four-eyes authorisation
Managed settlement requires a second, distinct approver in addition to the trade specialist who initiated it. The authoriser must confirm a mandatory attestation before the settlement can be released.
Approved partner execution
The regulated act of moving funds is performed by Prosperon's approved banking or payment partners. Prosperon coordinates that act within the managed trade; Prosperon does not itself hold customer funds as a standalone product.
Rejection
Prosperon may decline a settlement request that would breach any of the pre-conditions, or where new evidence emerges during authorisation. In that case funds received will be returned in line with the trade quotation.
Records
Every managed settlement is recorded against the parent trade with the approver identities, the attestation, and a full audit trail. Records are retained for the periods required by law.
