Framework
Fraud prevention is embedded in every Prosperon trade: customer and supplier verification before opening a trade, transaction screening before settlement, independent bank-account re-verification on change, and dual authorisation on managed settlements.
Common red flags
- A supplier's bank-account name differs from the supplier's registered legal name.
- A supplier requests urgent settlement outside the agreed trade timetable.
- A supplier's bank-account details change mid-trade without a plausible explanation.
- Trade documents contain inconsistencies (dates, ports, weights, values).
- A customer is pressured by a third party to release funds to an unverified account.
If any of these signals are present, we will pause the trade and re-verify before proceeding.
We never ask for payment over chat or email
Prosperon does not request settlement funds through email, WhatsApp, SMS or any messaging channel. All settlement instructions arrive inside the client portal, tied to a specific verified trade.
Reporting fraud
If you receive a suspicious communication that claims to be from Prosperon, do not act on it. Submit a report through our contact form so we can investigate and notify affected parties.
Cooperation with authorities
Where fraud is detected, Prosperon will cooperate with the relevant financial-crime and law-enforcement authorities to the extent permitted by law.
